Alternate head for RTS "G2" Laser Prime

So basically, I picked up an RTS Prime a while back with the intent of painting it into Scourge, but that idea fell through when I looked at the fact that I'd just end up ruining it if I tried.

Since I haven't had much luck selling it, I'm thinking I might as well add him to my collection in the time being, but I already have a bunch of Optimus Primes & don't really need another. That brought me to the idea of a simple headswap, but with what? Crankstart came to mind right away since I really like the head, but what do you guys think would look neat on him?

Machine Wars Thunderclash would be an interesting take on the sculpt. They're both trucks, the BotCon Rodimus repaint has broad shoulders that extend, etc.

And the paint scheme will contrast and make him stand out compared to other Optimus Primes.

Not sure what head to use. But you might not have to restrict yourself to Transformers heads. Check out some other figures of similar size and see what you might like to fudge into place.

Muahahah yeah. I have a couple of crash dummy heads (well, junkbots or whatever they're called), and one of em (the dude to the far right) especially might look nice.

This is a fun idea. I just had to grab my RTS Prime and some other figures to see what might work. How about Energon Rodimus' head? The red matches and looks pretty good.

...Or you could just leave him headless and voila! Instant Staks!

Yeah, and then I could even use G1 Ironhide's base thing with him too. Actually, I think it looks pretty good in vehicle mode too, so if I do end up working with a little bit of paint & styrene, I can even give it a bed cap of sorts.


... the head is still ugly as fuck though haha
