Big debate: who do you think should win? Autobots or Decepticons?

The reason for this is simple, if Megatron was ever defeated, and since he's no real match for Prime, that's a huge possibility in the war, then the Decepticons would have no strong leadership to hold them together. Keep in mind many of them follow Megatron out of fear, not loyalty. Many of them are like all evil people or villains persee, they care only for themselves.

Hands down the Autobots would win, it isn't even really a contest or even a war for that matter.

Omega Supreme, the Dinobots, Optimus Prime... What do the Decpticons have? They have Megatron and that's really about it, the rest of their warriors tend to be cowards or over confident or both. Besides, if the Decepticons really were a threat (As Starscream would say..) the war would have been over eons ago..

Don't forget, the Decepticons have their own combiners, triple changers, scientists, and the Fallen (since in several universes, The Fallen started the Decepticons). The Decepticons also has Sixshot.

I agree on the sheer numbers. Remember Transformers RID, the Autobots ridicoulously outnumber the Predacons and Decepticons by ALOT. That also applies to Transformers Cybertron. I wonder why the creators of the shows made it like that. I wish the numbers should be a little more even for both sides.

Yes, but none of their combiners or warriors have the courage or resolve the Autobots do. Nevermind the fact once their leader is taken out the first thing 9/10ths of them do is turn on each other.

It's no contest, the Autobots would easily win.

And Sixshot, pffft, whatever, Grimlock would stomp his ass flat.

Reason for more Autobots: G1 series when Huffer say's to Prime "but were not fighter like them" being domestic product instead of military hardware (Quintason journal, TF history)this put the Autobots at a disadvantage per say fighting and is also the reason that there are more of them comming from everyday products originally.

Given that The Transformers series is primarly a Kid-centric property, the good guys always win.

That being said, if it took place in the 'real world' I would think that the Decepticons may have the upper hand and ultimatly win out.

Why such an outlook? Well when was the last time that a war was won using Semi trucks and Camero's? There is a reason why even the 'good guys' using military weapons... they get stuff done.
