I would say go out and enjoy Toronto overnight...But I'm too paranoid for that.

Thanks guys! Steels/Martin Grove sounds like the way to go. I thought I would have to GO bus it to Square One and then come up using Mississauga Transit.

Re: How do I get the FULL TFCon experience?
Cool guys. Sounds great, except for the bar. I don't drink, so not much point in me hanging out there.
Also, I've never done pre-registration for TFcon before. Do you print it out and fax it in like BotCon?

Re: How do I get the FULL TFCon experience?
Nothing says that you have to drink alcohol at the bar, in fact many people hang out at the bar that don't drink so you won't feel alone, you may have more fun watching the drunks.

Re: How do I get the FULL TFCon experience?
You want the most out of TFCon? I drink Rum and Gingers. Put 13 of those in me and I promise the best time you've ever had.
In all seriousness, the best thing to do it take your time and talk to people. I have bee a vendor the last few years and I always made the effort to go around and talk to everyone. Makes coming back more of a welcoming feeling. Now lets just hope that kid doesn't play my f'n Transformers game the entire time again. I only sold one f'n copy!
I think it will be even better this year because it will be longer and will give everyone a better chance to know and interact with each other.

Bah' there's nothing to be paranoid or afraid of in that neck of the woods. The most trouble you'll get into is getting hammered at Montanas or go into a food coma from all you can eat ribs. Besides there are always lots of chill people to hang out with.

Just in case you didn't see it, there's also a Public Transportation topic stickied in this forum.

Re: How do I get the FULL TFCon experience?
I got my registration form, but what's this customizing class thing? I've never seen that mentioned before. Is it like the BotCon one where you assemble and paint a figure? Or is it like the thing last year where a guy talked about how to do repaints and modify parts, and he showed off his custom Nova Prime and Thunderwing?
Edit: Nevermind. I just noticed the thread and it is like BotCon.
