Is there a TRU.ca sightings thread? It seems like this has become the defacto one.

Honestly, I did. And got flamed forit and was told to post that somewhere else.

Someone needs to create an online sighting and deals thread in the sightings section. It only makes sense

Most likely we should make a different one because the title for this thread makes no sense for sightings.

Just write a new post in the general discussion. You can see one about Jetfire being on walmart.ca. Do something like that and it will be fine.

Re: Toys R Us updated their site, and....trouble!

I didn't get the chance to login to their new site for weeks. The site in this current state would be a fireable offence for any of my former software jobs. There was apparently zero QA work done.

I've sent them 3 different messages about problems and bugs. It looks like someone just said: 'Eh? Bugs? Whatever, make it live and let's go on vacation!'. Completely unprofessional for a company to leave it up like that for 3 weeks.

FWIW, the new TRU website didn't acknowledge the password to my account when I tried to log in. I requested a password reset and then I was good to go. My account still had my address info and R Club number, but none of my previous orders were showing up.

I did an order the other day and even though they say on their website that they still accept PayPal as payment, when I went to check out it would only let me use visa/MasterCard.

There was no option/link to use PayPal.
