Re: Hasbro Pulse Sightings
Thanks,
Anyone order from them recently having their items shipped to Canada?
So now they use FedEx Ground shipping to Canada...has anyone used Hasbro Pulse with this shipping method...what fees were you charged besides the initial tax when checking out?
Were there brokerage fees or any added costs applied?
Thanks!

I did. Having seen their more reasonable Canadian shipping fees I ordered 2 Seacons (main body + 1 limb) in April. Shipping to Toronto is $26.99US plus HST. No hidden charge. If I went through a US to Canada mail forwarding service the total cost is more of less the same (I do have free continental US shipping as a Premium member but I would need to pay for NY State tax, cross border service fees and HST for the item).

The tax is collected at purchase, and it's the same courier on both sides of the border, so there's no extra tax or fees after you check out.
One thing to watch though... once the item is sent out, you can't redirect it, not even to a FedEx pickup point. The FedEx website says the shipper (Hasbro Pulse) doesn't allow it. Generally, if it looks like a shipment will show up on a workday, I will have it sent to the post office or a courier pickup point. Can't do that with Pulse.

Re: Hasbro Pulse Sightings
So no brokerage fees after the fact, and a $20-$30 all in shipping fees isnt bad. Dod you guys order over 200$ or so, wondering if new fees kick in after the fact?
And you paid the Taxes on checkout and that was that? Taxes are taxes, but would have to pay them in Can and Prov in any case.
So no odd problems or experiences with the new shipping on Hasbro Pulse it seems...if I am missing anything please let me know.
Cheers and thanks!

Re: Hasbro Pulse Sightings
What is this "new shipping" from Pulse you guys are mentioning?
Did they decide to finally change something?

Re: Hasbro Pulse Sightings
Yes, they switched to FedEx International Express service...still expensive, but better than before.
I am just trying to make sure that there are no Brokerage fees or added fees beyond the flat rate shipping and HST/GST/PST for orders, as FedEx and UPS charge enormous Brokerage and other fees for Ground shipping...not sure if International Economy is a Ground service with Brokerage added or not.
Any added advice is always appreciated...Cheers!

I certainly didn’t order over $200. And the grand total you paid at check out included tax. They even broke down the tax into Federal GST and Provincial Tax. No extra brokerage or anything at delivery.

It used to be that they charged a lot for just a little thing. When Hasbro Pulse just started Feb ‘19 I wanted the Siege G2 Heroes Megatron and the shipping to Canada was $70 I ended up using a cross border mail forwarding service for a lot less.

Re: Hasbro Pulse Sightings
Thanks for your response.
Has anyone used this new FedEx International Express service with Hasbro Pulse recently and had a few different PreOrders come out at the same time and ship separately? Did they recharge you guys any more shipping? Thanks for your help with my questions and helping me dot "I"s and "T"s. Cheers!

Re: Hasbro Pulse Sightings
Thanks for the info, guys. Maybe I'll start looking at Pulse as a option again in the future
