I got my Iron Man Mark I figure for like...5 bucks and when one of the local TRU was closing they were liquidating the Iron Man figures even lower at 2-2,50! that's Tron and Last Airbender type of price.

Movie lines should hit hard and quickly, not meander with three friggin' waves.

Dark of the Moon toyline would have done better if actual movie characters were released sooner (looking at SW, Leadfoot, Que and possibly Dino)
I mean, repaints of Mudflap and Skids? Does no one at Hasbro do Market Research? I can still BUY the ROTF Mudflap and Skids, why would new DOTM repaints suddenly sell better? Oh wait, they dont.
Maybe i'm just bitter about losing out on characters with a couple of lines over the ones taken out of the movie altogether. Glad I got HA SW but I still want Deluxe SW, Dino, Que and Leadfoot. Oh well.

Actually DOTM Mudflap and DOTM Skids are new molds. They were planned to be in the movie but got axed somewhere in the evelopment cycle when they realised that NOBODY LIKES THEM.

Why wasn't Cyberfire Bumblebee a new guy with a cooler head anyway?

Probably because someone at Hasbro figured that by making him a COOL Bumblebee, they'd essentially be getting two birds stoned at once. That's my theory, anyway. Like, you need him in the assortment, so you might as well do something different, at least once in a while.

I am of the same astonishment as everyone else. How do you release repaints without releasing actual on screen characters?

I was abe to pick up HA Leadfoot while in Vegas last summer and now just bought HA Soundwave on Ebay for a good price actually. Now looking for Wheeljack and I am done collecting this line. Dont get me started on Mirage!

I got mine around that price too. I do like HA SW, not the best, but I dont regret the purchase.
As for Frenzy Rumble, he probably just made "unreleased" ROTF constructions and called them prototypes. Like how I gave mine an extra hand that attaches to the crane. Sure it also transforms to vehicle mode, doesn't mean I have some magical unreleased part that wasnt released with the 7 giant POS Devestator toy, it means I made one to make him...betterish.
