losing interest
I don't know about you guys, but I am starting to lose interest in Transformers, it's not the same as when I first joined TFW and Cybertron. It's like sometimes I just don't want to log on to the boards. Has anybody else lost or losing interest?

Re: losing interest
Yeah, I slightly lost interest during the Armada, Energon, Cybertron Days. I think it was the 6 inch Diecast Titanium War Within Series that brought me back.

Re: losing interest
It's a hobby and we're all getting older so interests and priorities are bound to change.
Walk away for a while and explore your other interests.
Don't worry. The plastic crack will still be around and we'll all be here in some shape or form.

I can't thank you guys enough for your support throughout my hard times, and concern. We are all TF fans, and most importantly humans who care for one another.

Re: losing interest
As with anything, different people will hold different degrees of interest in things.
I hope people haven't discouraged you at all, but it is okay to lose interest. Myself, I find I am not as interested as I used to be, and I am okay with it. However, I do find that my interest in Transformers is a nice place to visit from time-to-time.

Not at all, people haven't discouraged me, on the contrary, I think there is really nothing to talk about that's related Transformers besides comics and toys. Hopefully the pace will pick up once the new cartoon starts.

Re: losing interest
I'm also at a low point in my interest now for the last couple years. I keep up with a few things, but not like I used to.

Re: losing interest
I've been on the slide for a few years now. But with like anything, there are hills and valleys. I know my interest will never be 0, so I'm okay with this lull period. And I think it's okay to be picky about stuff. Money is finite.

Re: losing interest
Yeah, I guess my interest isn't as intense as it was a few years ago. Then again, maybe it's because I've purchased a lot of what I was looking for over that time.
I'm still interested in what comes out, but with so much stuff available to buy, I'm getting more selective. I don't fret much about missing stuff now. There's always something else, and really, if you're patient you can always find something again or wait for the inevitable re-release.
I think my interest will go up with the new cartoon. I'm digging the toys.

Re: losing interest
I agree with you there. Maybe when there's new content like the show coming in you'll be more interested in what's current.
I know I could really use it and I'm starting to get excited.
