He doesn't specifically state it's official and he does say Asian, which isn't exactly untruthful.

The box he shows is the KO version of MP08, which usually selling for less than $100 online, and he claims it's "Asia version MP Grimlock".
While the real Asia version MP Grimlock should be this box

and KO version MP Grimlock is 2 different thing, and the price are different too.

Not everyone here is on top of every single release of a figure. I mean, someone on the board just mentioned that they got fooled by the two types of deluxe figures in the new AOE line and bought a deluxe Power Battlers Strafe thinking it was the regular deluxe Strafe that hasn't been released yet.

And I have to admit, I almost got fooled in the same way too.

Did you notice there's a sticky thread dedicated to helping others identify transformers, and that thread has over 600 posts? I don't think most collectors know every single bot out there, and sometimes they need help.

And not everyone has the time to memorize which transformer has been KOed and which has not. This board is filled with stories of collectors who have been fooled.
