I would have collected my CHUG stuff and Prime series but probably would not have collected the movie stuff or at least been a bit more selective on them and not been a completist. I would still collect my Masterpiece stuff and my 3p Masterpiece aswell!

If I can turn back the clock - I'd still have no money but I never collected anything except G1 - no mp, no 3p, no energon, armada, superlink etc.

If I could go back in time, I'd tell myself to buy the things that caught my eye at the time, instead of leaving them on the rack and walking away, and later paying 2x their retail value or more to buy them on the secondary market.

would've skipped Fansproject Defender and Assaulter and that third party MP shockwave. Probably should've sold a lot of my toys sooner at their peak too. I still have the ROTF superion and bruticus.

I should've also skipped the cybertron wars series. they don't fit in my CHUG line up

My wife would say, i should've never bought that MP starscream that started it all

I wouldn't have sold all of my original G1s.
I sold most of my collection in the mid-90s.

I'd have paid for attention to the Alternators -- somehow I like them, but only picked up 2 (Hound & Sideswipe). I would have collected more, just to display as vehicles.

I'd skip things like Fall of Cybertron Bruticus, knowing that Unite Warriors was coming.

I'd skip things like Unite Warriors Bruticus, in favour of Oversized KO Warbotron.

I'd skip things like Oversized KO Warbotron, in favour of something better which Takara might have on the horizon...

Overall, I'd stick with my plan of G1 & G1 reissues, and Official Masterpieces. 3P MP-style figures if I could know for sure that Takara will not be providing a release...
