So...Finn shall brandish the blue bladed, Graflex-based Skywalker lightsaber, Rey will kick ass and look great, and Han Solo is back to using his long-scoped, ANH-era Blastech DL-44 according to a recently revealed Dru Struzan Episode VII poster at D23:

I really like the look of Finn and Rey in that poster. I think the movie's success is going to hinge on the acting of these two. Please, please be good actors

I think it's a safe bet that Han is going to be killed off in Episode VII 
I just hope they don't kill off Kylo Ren like they did Darth Maul. Oh look that's a cool looking badass character Sith looking guy, oh wait he died. Now let's bring him back to life with metal underwear cause we didn't realize he was a fan favorite  *cough*Boba

Agreed with both of you too!, I don't think JJ will let it Fail.
We can only hope Ryan Johnson does as well for VIII and Colin Trevorrow ( Jurassic World director) to do IX (hmmm)
