Thanks dude! These are the lines I've limited myself to. I've got a few of the movie toys, but not a lot.
Thanks for the comments, and I'll try to answer the onslaught of questions.
1. I've actually never had one of my 'bots from this collection fall. When I pose them, I test the stability of the stance by giving the figure a couple of good shoves. If it stands up to my test, I'm pretty confident that they'll stay where they are.
2. Dust is totally a problem.
3. I dust the shelves as often as I feel like moving every figure in the display. About once a month or two I'd say.
4. Until I get a real Classics Smokescreen and Wheeljack, Cyb. Smokescreen and Downshift are my guys! I had been, like everyone else, functioning under the assumption that Classics was done, so I was beefing up the ranks.
As to why they're in vehicle mode, two reasons: they come packaged in vehicle mode; not enough room to show them all in bot mode, so it saves some space.
5. The white thing in front of astrotrain is a speaker.
6. Behind Astrotrain is Cybertron Soundwave, who is my Classics Soundwave until a real one comes along.
7. Classics Bumblebee and Cliffjumper are up there because that's my main collection, and they are in pretty good cartoon-scale, so they go up there. I've got kitbashes and repaints planned to get all the mini-bots ('84-'85 anyway)
8. Classics Bumblebee is wielding the swords of a McFarlane Mandarin Spawn. Mirage is wielding the lightsaber of the X-wing SW Transformer. Jetfire is using his own weapon.
9. He's okay once he's in position, but it took me awhile to find one that worked. He's also put together without using the energon bits, so he's not as stable as he could be.
Phew, that was a fingerfull!
