Re: Gauging interest

I can say I have yet to have any luck moving any of my movie stuff. And when you factor the shipping in, it's pretty much impossible.

Re: Gauging interest

Movie figures don't sell because we all have/had them. We have to wait for a new generation of adult fans interested in the back catalog.

True with what everyone is saying about the movie figs. That will be a pain to move.

Unfortunately Animated is not "worth" more as it truly is a fantastic line with great figures across the board.

I thought you meant the G1 cartoon movie I was thinking DAYAMMM! This guys collections must rival brr-icy's. Then I read on and realized you meant movieverse.

Totally agree, the "Animated" figures are fantastic.

As for the movie, probably only the ROTF leader figures are worth something.

Re: Gauging interest

Do you have the option of storing most in bins for a few years? If so I'd sell what you can on the boards then put the rest in storage for a few years, see if the market for them ever improves.

Re: Gauging interest

Let's see what you have! As others have suggested post in the sale thread. If you bought everything from the 1st movie you might have some items that will interest some people I waited until the premium series came out because I wasn't impressed with the colouring on the original releases. I know for me when space becomes a real issue and my tardis fills up I'll put some movie toys away but I won't be selling them as I do enjoy transforming them.

Re: Gauging interest

I think Pascal may be right, you may have to wait a few generations to pass before interest gains in the movie stuff. For Animated, I would be interested in a Legends prowl if you got one

I would add ROTF Bruticus Maximus to this list, if you happen to have it.
