Generations 2014 Deluxe Toys Update - Crosscut, Arcee and Chromia Delayed

They are not cancelled, the assortments are, and will be moved into a different wave for a different release date. As long as they are only delayed, I'm happy.

*sobs in a corner* There was only a few TF's I wanted this year: Jetfire, Windblade, MP Wheeljack, Chromia and Arcee and I just don't see them all happening anymore. T_T

Yeah sure, I'll believe that when RtS Frumble get's released... Oh wait, I believe that ship already sailed. Way to go Hasbro, once again your ability to actually sell your products to retailers falls completely short. Just what the hell is their marketing plan like when they can't even convince retailers to carry more than just the movie shit. Sure it sells like hotcakes apparently when it's on screen, but for the other 11 months out of the year we get clogged shelves and figures that take up space better reserved for figures people might actually want to buy.

Sure Hasbro has cancelled a few toys here and there, but we are talking about classics, which is a very long term toy line, unlike Animated, Prime, or some movie sub-lines figures.

Fine, lets say they do actually commit to cancelling the few waves, pretty sure Takara got us covered; Yeah the Frumble figures got canned, but are available.

when they cancelled that RTS rumble (blue) and frenzy(red) I pick the takara versions up right away and still payed $50 for 2 $10 toys. Looks like takara will be taking alot more business away from Hasbro because of this mess.

If these figs are released in the movie line you just know that whey will be shorpacked, over numbered by bumblebees and other shelf warmers. These figures will be the first to sell leaving the store with a ton of unwanted figures that prevent them from ordering more. We've seen it all before with the RTS and movie lines.

If Hasbro fails to release Windblade "the fan built bot", then that really will be a black eye. Until then this just sucks, but let's wait and see if panic is really warranted.

Is Takara getting Windblade, Arcee and Chromia? I don't think Hasbro would cancel Windblade's figure, the comic is doing really well

Not much of a surprise, I figured when they flooded the shelves with the Beast Hunters the generations line was going to be effected. Really only wanted Wingblade and Jetfire, hopefully they'll get released in the fall.
