Or just for the sake of having us buy 2 instead of just price matching 1/flat out going to Wal-Mart. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if these were planned long ago for the sake of clearing up stock before the holiday rush (sort of like why Wal-Mart likely did it), rather than a surprise competition.

Either way, this seems like a perfect time to pick up the new Bee & Ratchet figures, assuming of course that I'm lucky enough to find something besides wave 1 pegwarmers (and Tuner Mudflap).

Ugh was hoping to take advantage of this, but the 3 TRU stores I've been to so far have had nothing but Dirge, Tuner Skids, and a bunch of DOTM figures... I just can't get into the movie line so I guess there's not much at TRU for me right now.

Picked up my first Bay-verse movie figures: Turbo Bee and Barricade. Super awesome figures. Im happy. Might go back to get Starscream and Sideswipe now.

Has anyone tried asking for rain checks here yet?


Edit - Went there tonight, but my store didn't have anything newer than wave 2 (qq), and they couldn't give me a raincheck because they weren't out of stock of everything that applied to the sale. I figured as much (as that's generally how rainchecks work), but I still had to try.
