3rd party Japanese Retailers
Hey Guys,
I remember a post that posted good online retailers but I can't seem to find it on the forum. With the Canadian dollar dropping dramatically, where can I go to get 3rd party transformers stuff? I looked on HJL, AmiAmi and NJ just seem to sell Takara stuff.

Re: 3rd party Japanese Retailers
3rd Party (MP-like) is generally more expensive. Action Robo is pretty good. Also Chimungmung. Throw either of those into Google. Also Mandarake. Choose the "under 18" option there though or prepare for statue-porn. Also, if you use Google translate to put search terms in Japanese, you get better results. There is an English page, but it is not the same.

Re: 3rd party Japanese Retailers
Slayback has some great toys, but operates in USD. I'm paid in CAD so it is too expensive for me. Action Robo and Chimungmung are also USD, but a cheaper starting point.

he probably got this idea because of slayback/madhaus "promotional offer" for the BadCube Wardog.

Re: 3rd party Japanese Retailers
I'm trying to stay out of the US currency mess. The conversion is just getting worse, and as PrimeCron said, this is just the beginning. I know Slayback got his sit up recently, so I'll see if I can move pre-orders there. I know it takes him a bit of time to respond because he probably gets messaged a lot, but with his site up, it should be easier now to place pre-orders and stuff.

Re: 3rd party Japanese Retailers
Really!?! That is important news for me. It was the Wardog special and some comments on the other thread convinced me he was USD.
Well, this changes things.
