Re: CHUG Collectors-Which Optimus Do You Use?

You gotta go with Classics Optimus.

Two of the best OP toys for sure.

Ah one of the gaps in my collection. I have MP-10 for the MPs, FE Optimus for the Prime line, and two Orion Paxes only for the CHUG line. (One is a custom done by another customizer from the Gen. Kup long before we got the Gen. Orion Pax.)

Guess I had my lens on the classics factor when recommending FE prime (as I think he fits with the line, though I personally use Classic voyager and maketoys for my classics display). I will agree rotf Optimus is right up there with my favorites. Speaking of which if anyone has a buster or striker prime for trade...

Toyworld Orion for me too, but I still have my classics Optimus with Fansproject G3 trailer.

My classics collection is now more voyager scale so Orion just works better for me. I'm sad I missed out on the Renderform head for Orion though.

I use Henkei Prime for my collection also with G3 trailer.

As for a Powermaster Prime I almost wonder if there'd be a way for Takara/Hasbro to remould CW Ultra Magnus into a PM Prime, just a cool thought. At least use the transformation structure anyway. Now let's derail the thread and ask which Ultra Magnus people are using now, lol.

For the Magnus question above. CW now that I have it to replace the G1 and forgot to add the G3 Trailer as part of my Henkei Prime leading the fray with his woman Eupotorium lol

Using City Commander on my shelf until I get Takara CW Magnus. I still like City Commander but the new toy actually having a functioning car carrier mode built in for scouts and legends sells it for me.

Re: CHUG Collectors-Which Optimus Do You Use?

Before everyone starts talking about Ultra Magnus, let me be the first (from a quick scan of the thread) to say that I use Alternators Prime among my Classics. Except for him, I only started collecting modern figures with Generations, so I missed out on a lot, and Alternators Prime fits in well enough that I've never felt the need to hunt down Classics Prime.
