I knew that was coming. Snail has had them for about a week in CDN packaging.

Hmm...I have a dilemma. I want to get Hot Shot, but do I get the Henkei one for the guns or the Hasbro one for the JaAm? Reprolabels should do a set for Henkei Hot Shot so he can have the proper liscence plate. "Hot Rod"? HE'S NOT HOT ROD! Stupid Takara. Hot Rod/Hot Shot is his slave name. His true name is JaAm.

I might buy Ratchet if I see him but not too crazy about this wave otherwise.

Re: Transformers Universe Deluxe Wave 6 Released in Canadian Retail

Well he did have the Hot Rod paint job when he became "powerlinx" 'd...I always kinda thought of Hot Shot as an amalgam character that took aspects of Bumblebee and Hot Rod and put them in one character.

As for the henkei guns, ya they're cool but I don't see a spot to store them in vehicle mode. YET I pose everything in robot mode I know it'll still bother me. I do like them though, kinda has the Animated Hot Shot weapon feel to it with I prefer to his back axle cannon.

May I also point out this will be the last wave for Universe deluxes in a while....

They can be stored underneath coming out the back end near the license plate. Japanese mould is slightly remoulded for that purpose.

I don't like the molds for either of the new bots but for the $8.92 price I could be convinced.

So the Hasbro Hot Shot doesn't come with a gun, and only Henkei carries a gun?? Can someone confirm that?

How about Red Alert Deluxe? If this is the last wave, what happened to Red Alert?? Can someone confirm this also?

Yes only the Henkei Hot Shot has guns.

There is no Universe Red Alert right now, only Henkei. Maybe Hasbro will release one later, who knows.

Re: Transformers Universe Deluxe Wave 6 Released in Canadian Retail

Here's my theory on this. Universe is going on Hiadus, like it did before. But I'd be very willing to bet that it will be back after TFTM2 runs its course.

This has turned into one of Hasbro's better ideas really. They can include figures from any show they have ever done in an assortment, like they have started doing. thus appleasing Transformers fans everywhere, every age, every demographic.

Want G1, its in the line, want Beast Wars, it is too, Want Cybertron? Ditto for that line.

As to the future I think We'll definitly see G1 repaints for Red Alert, Sunstorm and maybe even Jazz within the universe line. Probably Tigertron and another version of Dinobot too. Excellion for Hot Shot? Probably.

Maybe Movie toys even enter the mix down the road a little.

This is likely the future of Animated toys as well that don't get released now. Brawn as a repaint of Soundwave come to mind as an easy one.

Likely one new mold for each wave topped up with repaints.

I think Hasbro is going to milk this for a long time. Of course my opinion and 50 cents might buy a donut
