Re: haslab unicron

I'm tempted. If I hadn't pre-ordered the Prime 1 Studio Ultra Magnus statue I'd have been all over this.

Still quite iffy about it, but I may change my mind once it gets closed to 8000 orders...

In what world are 3p consistently cheaper than Hastak?

Seems to me it was 3p that lead the way in collector centric high priced offerings.

I would think a 3p version, with significantly less productions numbers would cost more, not less.

Do you know if it'll ship from Canada (assuming Hasbro in Quebec?) The order page only says $30 for shipping, plus tax which makes me think it won't have to cross the boarder and have customs fees, but Haslab isn't giving me a straight answer on where it'll come from. Thanks!

I did ask Hasbro that question. Shipping is free to the continental US, non-continental US and Canada will be charged. But they did not confirm with me what the shipping cost was going to be.

Isn't $30 like the base Hasbro toy shop/Pulse shipping fee? Where the more you order, the higher it goes from there? I'd be very surprised if shipping to Canada was only $30 (+duty fees).

Enjoy the videos, btw. Keep it up!

Re: haslab unicron

Canadian orders could be shipped from within Canada, seems like that was case with Barge.

Well considering MP's now cost way more than most 3p versions now, I'd say we're at that point.

Times have changed, I would have agreed with you about 3p being on the higher side when it came to price for collector items a couple years ago but now with the insane price hikes for most official lines, 3p prices are looking pretty sane.

Anyone know what will happen if it doesn't reach its 8000 backers?
