Re: So what's this I hear about no new Generations deluxes for Canada?

Personally, I prefer the non-comic packaging (since I buy the comics in trade paperback format) and hope that it continues for the rest of the figures. I am concerned that we might not get the last wave or two, but then I'm always overly pessimistic about such things.

I agree with this. No guarantees we will get the wave, no guarantees we won't.

Same here.

Re: So what's this I hear about no new Generations deluxes for Canada?

Has Canada not received entire waves of figures in the past?

I wasn't aware that that happened. If that's the case then I will have to be buying more generic hasbro releases online or at cons. Up until now I always thought I was pretty safe with just waiting for the Canadian release.

Re: So what's this I hear about no new Generations deluxes for Canada?

its typical of hasbro to screw us like this they have been doing this since G1 where we get shorted of few final figures or like the past series (prime) some of the figures in the middle of the run (breakdown) with the movie looming now those figures will dry up (like animated got killed for the movie) I sat down and started to compile a list of figures that we have gotten shorted on and it seems to run just about every series from G1 forward (this should be a thread by its self) yet as canadians we sit and say oh well were not big enough to matter to hasbo.... forward your complaint letters to hasbro Qubec and/or pawtuckett ask them for an appoligie while your at it 'LOL"

you can always goto toy shows for the remaining figures...not a big problem for me as this year i'm a bit more selective on the hasbro figures. rather save more for the 3rd party

The Ruination wave never made it here. Barely did in the States as well, though.

Re: So what's this I hear about no new Generations deluxes for Canada?

The only waves Canada (specifically Toronto) miss are generally the final wave in a line (IF THAT). With Generations still going strong and the Waspy wave just apprearing; I will choose to ignore this news.....for now.
