Blue Streak is not Blue

Just putting this out there. Blue Streak is not called "Blue Streak" because he is blue. It is because he "talks a blue streak"!

I think "Blue Streak" as a geewun name wasn't meant to reference the pre-Tranformers Fairlady Z's blue colouration as a Diaclone toy. Still, I'm kinda stoked about a blue Blue Streak (not enough blue amongst my MP Autobots).

Okay, that didn't answer my question to the OP. I prefer the one true to Blue over this exclusive so there. If you are thinking I meant I didn't know he was going to be Blue or his name meaning, I knew, I was just trying to figure out what the OP was complaining about.

Not complaining at all. In fact, if Takara released every MP mold in a variety of different colours I'd probably buy them all (except maybe YOTH MP10 because I just don't like that one).

I've been reading a lot of posts on various websites about this MP18b many of which suggest there is a misconception concerning the colour/name of Blue Streak and so I thought I would get my two-bits in.

Ah, I don't like it either, though that might be because it's a chrome/metallic finish and that just looks cheap to me.

I had always wondered if they originally planned to use the Diaclone blue Datsun and ended up with a silver paint instead so the character name got out of sync with the toy, but I never checked this theory with someone knowledgable like Protoman...
