After 13 years since I bought BW Silverbolt from the Magnaboss set, I knew that he was going to die soon, being made of that bronze plastic. So when I tried to combine and make magnaboss, BAM, one of the pegs that is supposed to connect into the elephant snapped off, I mean, it didn't snap off, it just came off, and now I'm totally screwed, and the Tripredacus that I have stands there mocking the fallen Magnaboss.

Even superglue, which saved the elephant, couldn't help the eagle now.

Apparently GPS does not discriminate. It attacks every toy that is subject to GPS. This means that if you have a torca, or a BW silverbolt, or that gold laser rod, or G2 slingshot, it would be a matter of time before it broke.

And going to Ebay to replace my broken BW silverbolt, part of the magnaboss set, I feel would be a waste of money, the GPS is going to claim that one as well.

And GPS + combiner = epic fail, especially if the peg is gold plastic or anything similar.

Funny, the opposite happened to me. My Ramhorn from Tripredacus, one of his shoulders and where his "hand" connects to his wrist has broken as well.

This happened a few years ago, but for no reason! It's not like I actually "play" with them, they've just been on display.

It's not exact, though. It depends on the molecular distribution of sparkly bodies* relative to the plastic mass. It's like a vein of gold in a mountain, except the mountain is the normal plastic and the gold is evaporating butter. Work that analogy out.

Either way, it could theoretically be dispersed enough to have no quantifiable effect on the toy overall. In theory, at least. But in the meantime, Magnaboss no longer gets to wear his bird vest, ever.

*This is a scientific term.

Both my G2 Slingshot and G1 Black Zarak suffered the same fate In fact, I have to get a couple of G2 Slingshots as backups and already one of them has become the replacement...

After first learning about this "condition" I transformed my Magnaboss set for the final time, he has been on displayed and unplayed with for about 4 years now

I'm gonna have to be extra careful with my Sliverbolt then. I actually thought he wasn't gold plastic but something else. Scary stuff.

I'm not. My Silverbolt and Torca are both perfectly intact.

It's luck of the draw, and some figures get it wore than others. Silverbolt usually does okay.

Also, if you're looking a loose GPS afflicted toy, give it a solid rub with your thumb. Those in worse shape will quite simply flake apart with that. If nothing happens, it's probably at least one of the stronger ones out there.
