Parcels from the US. How Long Do They Take?

There's no set delay. You can fill a dispute immediately. PayPal will require you to communicate with the seller before progressing. Since you already contacted the seller, you can then escalate it immediately to request a refund. This will require about 10 days wait.

Be warned though that PayPal only refunds you if there is fund is the sellers account. They will not go and get it from his credit card or bank account. If there is no cash in his account they will send him "hash reminders" (or as I call them "bullsh*t"). And that is the extent of their insurrance and refund policy. I know, it sucks. I couldn't believe it either when I lost my money.

Well I sent an email to the guy requesting a refund. I'll give it a day or so and then file a request with paypal if I don't hear anything. Thanks for the advice guys.

I believe you have 45 days after the transaction to file a dispute with PayPal.

So just an update. I finally got in touch and apparently he forgot to fill in the last 2 lines of my address and it was sent back to him on Wed. SO he sent in Airmail Parcel as of this morning. So another 6-8 buz days for me. Of course the Paypal Dispute will remain open (Especially since I cannot reopen it) until the package arrives. Man the anticipation is killing me.

Longest for me was 16 weeks(4 months), I think they walked it here to be honest, I assumed it was lost in the mail, but apparently it was just really badly handled, also why I will never use DHL -EVER- again, they sent it to like 23 different facilities, I called them up and they kept reassuring me it was en route, well it was sort of, none of which were the right route.

It was a horrible experience.

YES....don't use DHL, they tax u crazy too. Be warned...

I hope he gave you a tracking number. I've seen cases where people make up stories like that. Not that I'm saying he's lying but.. you know, it happens... Better safe then sorry!

in cases like this, he probably didnt send it in the first place, and just kept procrastinating and putting off getting up and going to have it shipped.

since i've been burned through ebay and paypal, if 30 days go by and it isnt in my hands, i open a dispute.

Item received this week. All is good. But no sign of the first shipping. He also mispelled my name and had the wrong street name and postal code. Its a miracle it ever arrived.
