Parcels from the US. How Long Do They Take?
Hey everyone,
When you have had a bunch of Transformers shipped to you from the States, how long is the longest you have waited for them? The reason I ask is I purchased a bunch of Takara Reissues in box and it was shipped out just over 3 weeks ago regular parcel post. How long should I wait before I should assume the item is lost? Thanks.

the longest one mine took was 3 3/4 weeks, or 4 weeks if you want to round it up.
was your parcel insured? is it trackable? have you tried contacting the seller?

depends on how large the box is and how far away it is. but i say 6 weeks should be the max.

2 weeks as well, try to get the customs number it usually starts with LC and if your lucky the Post Office scanned the customs barcode, so you may be able to track it. Also remember customs may be holding on to the parcel as well until it clears.

I did contact the seller and told me the tracking only works in the States, no insurance (too bad), so no idea where it is now. I guess at this point I know its being held at customs or lost. Probably customs, the guy told me he marked down the value as $20 so you know they are going to question that. 6 Takara Reissues for $20. No way in Hell.
Thanks for the feedback. Do you think its fair to give it 4 full weeks and then ask for a refund? I guess if I get it after than I can always pay the guy back.

Not true. If there is a tracking number it works in both countries. If you don't receive your package in 3.5 weeks then request a refund through paypal, he will asked to provide proof of shipment (tracking #), if he can't then you will get your $ back. If you wait too long you won't be able to get your money back.

How long after you use paypal to make a payment must you claim item not received to get your money back? Its more than 4 weeks isn't it?
