I always love seeing all the art people buy (whether it's a commission, print, etc.). I was hoping people here could either share pics or scans of any art related thing they may have acquired.
I've been wanting to get a MTMTE styled Botanica from Alex Milne since last year but was unable to because he had no time to do one. Thankfully this year I caught a slot on Twitter in time. I think it looks awesome, but for some reason I feel like she doesn't look incredibly MTMTE-like but that might just be because she has an unusual design anyways. I'm super glad I got this coloured though because a lot of the details happened to be coloured! (Really like the detailing on the vines and lips).
I stopped by my friend David's table a few times and before I left for the weekend he was kind enough to give me a print. Was asking him what it's like to table as an fan artist of TFs and I guess he has a pretty good turnout. Was asking because I was thinking of maybe doing the same... but I'm not too sure if my art would be good enough to sell...
The rest of my art haul doesn't necessarily belong but it is art and I did spend money on it. These are all drawings that I made as gifts for the guests and I had them sign a copy for myself as well. Glad to see that all the guests responded quite well to them.
Anyways I remember seeing quite a few cool art pieces at the con (like this really cool Vos done by Alex Milne in black and white) and I'm hoping that people will see the thread and share the art that they purchased.
