Yeah, I did.

It was shipped on December 26. It's status is that it has been 'Dispatch from outward office of exchange' on the 27th. Nada since then. It will take about two-three weeks.

It's a $13 difference to get it here sooner. Not a big deal given the overall cost, but at the time it was enough. It cost me $149 shipped. Too bad the yen dropped so much. Though long sold out, the last price on NY's site was $109 before release. If it had been that much, I'd have paid the extra. Oh well.

Hmmm appears to be $189.95 USD ($220.41 CAD using xe.com) pre-taxes.

Re: MP-22 - arriving

Seems more and more people are receiving theirs. Something not so far commented on (which could be a good thing since it would seem to be something brought up) is whether anybody is getting dinged by customs fees.

I've shipped 3 packages from HLJ all using SAL option and neither MP-20 and MP-21 nor the Optimus Prime Pen got dinged.

However a little worried that on top of having to pay an additional $40 above what I paid for the item to ship it that I could have to also pay duty.

Is it inappropriate to ask if anybody has been dinged by customs or not. Just trying to assess my risk here for additional costs.

Re: MP-22 - arriving

If you receive a package from another country with a value above $100 it will be charged with customs fees.

Fixed

Mine was shipped from NY on Dec 26 and is in transit via SAL. I had gotten a Soundblaster 2 weeks before and it arrived yesterday. Based on that I would assume Jan 8-9.

I have rarely been dinged under $100 - Always when above. Thankfully most from overseas do not fully declare.

I dislike BBTS and TFSource for that reason - but will use them when needed.
