Was able to get an early Xmas surprise in the form of PotP Leader Optimus, care of fellow board member Mr. Yonoid

Definitely impressed with the both the bot modes (despite the somewhat lack luster truck mode Pascal's transformation suggestion on the previous page does improve the look). The 2 piece gun is a cool design and the matrix is always a welcomed addition.

Careful popping it out, if you want to switch it with the Enigma one that came with Grimlock. It's a tight fit and can cause a little stressing on the casing/grey part of the matrix itself.

It really seems like Hasbro took influence from the MP version, which is nice for those who dont own the piece. Definitely worth picking up!

Well, I totally dig the small Prime Masters! The Pretender shells are cool as hell and they're solid in weapon mode. Good job Hasbro.

Haven't cracked them open. Did you happen to get the Strength set by chance? Curious to see it the TM Metalhawk will fit in the pretender shell?

Picked up everything I wanted except leader Prime. Have only opened Slash since I'm out of town, but I love her. Nice transformation, she looks great in both modes. Looking forward to opening the rest of the dinobots and leader Rodimus when we get back home.

Still no leader Optimus, but I got the rest I wanted. Dinobots are cool. I like the transformations and the combined modes. Wish stuff pegged in a little tighter, and they probably could have been better without having to combine. But all in all I'm pretty happy with them. Leader Rodimus is good. I like all the modes and the way it looks.

Still couldn't find Prime, so I picked up the voyager Starscream since there was a sale. He's not a good toy for sure. But aside from the underside of the jet mode and the oversized limbs, I kind of like the figure. The way I display it he looks fine in both modes. I really like the torso mode though. Now I just need some more limbs besides Swoop and Slag!
