Power of the Primes Dreadwind Review

First of the new Power of the Primes deluxes is Dreadwind - and, boy, is there a bunch of stuff to cover. But, is he worth it in the end?

Re: Power of the Primes Dreadwind Review

These guys are tough for me. They're two characters I have a soft spot for due to late Marvel g1. The retooling is significant, great heads, new guns... But I can't stand that they used the same shin piece AGAIN. The design is so specific. I know it's minor, and normally I'm pretty easy to please. It just feels like I've had these toy nine times already.

Which, basically, I have.

I TOTALLY agree about the shin piece and I never found it was the best one for tabbing tightly either, neither on this guy or Skydive.

Personally, I think the fact that Dreadwind and Darkwing/Blackwing can serve as robots and combiner limbs AND can combine with each other on top of that, is really, really cool and totally makes them worth more than any other Combiner Wars/Power of the Primes combiner limbs, simply for these features and the fact that Hasbro could do it on Deluxe figures.

I'm sure there have been pics but not many, I'm really curious how they combine with *each other*.
