Anyone can insight into how long after purchase TRU will match future sales?

As in:
- leaders are 20% off this week, thinking of picking up Overlord
- next week (or two, or three) could have a better sale

Back when I picked up Blaster, was during a (want to say) 25% off sale, then literally the next week he was (want to say) 35% off.
I went back to return him and get the new sale price, but they just refunded the difference to my card right on the spot.

So the question is, if I pick up Overlord now, how long is the period from purchase that I can get rebated if they do a better sale down the road?

I've never had an issue with doing the price adjustment if I'm within that 45 day period.

Ive had severe issues even within the 14 day period. Depends on the person your talking too. Thankfully there were two TRU in the city that year.

Depends on the sales person, Id explain to them that you would just have to annoyingly buy it again and return it in any case...so to not waste everyone's time just do the price adjustment, and that when you called Toysrus.ca online order they said its no problem whatsoever.

Well, that great for anyone who wants something in that price range, but sucks for anyone who wants a TLK leader figure or a Masterpiece or something like Trypticon. Guess I might have to wait for the next sale then. How often do these sales generally come along for TRU, out of curiosity? It seems like once a month, generally.

Yeah, by the looks of it, I concluded that such sales seem to come around every once a month, assuming TRU doens't decide to throw curveballs.

Ya you'd think Hasbro & TRU would want to go the extra mile for the customer to try to keep TRU open in Canada seeing as there having bankruptcy issues. But what do we know ? Were just people who want to buy toys & collectibles.

Id say buy a Tryp or MP soon, and likely before xmas they will have a sale...go back and ask for an adjustment when the sale is on. If they do not, you can always return it in 45 days.
