"Petty" and "insulting to fans" are terms that come to mind.

Oh, and this:

Re: NHL Lockout

Unions need to stand their ground. When it comes down to it, the commissioner is easily replaceable, and his salary is the same as top players. Therefore, the way I see it, the owners and league are trying to get more of a cut of revenues than they deserve. I don't want to see a lockout, but I blame the owners. But the business side of this has corrupted the game, and until fans respond by not buying all this merchandise, watching or attending, there won't be anything to mitigate the outrageous rising prices and salaries. We have to take an interest in other leagues instead.

Talking Re: NHL Lockout

I hope they won't jack up the Marlies' tickets to take advantage of the lack of Leafs.

Think they can still get 12,000 at the ACC for a Marlies game?

Or for those who always have the money to go to a lot of games, you now have more money to buy TFs.

Re: NHL Lockout

I can see both points of view but at this point I'm likely pro players. This is the third straight lockout under Gary Bettman.

We all know how stubborn that dude can be.

Also he should agree to cut his own salary by as much as he wants the players to as a good example, but he won't.

Thumbs up Re: NHL Lockout

Off to the KHL and Europeans leagues they go...
With no hockey, spend more time on baseball.
Bettman's #1.
Head over to some minor league hockey games.

You're not supposed to see what I did there, ha!
