Re: A Mission Accomplished

Cool thread! I finally finished the first-series of Headmasters (1987) after finally nabbing Fort Max, Scorponok, Mindwipe and Wierdwolf.

My other goal was each and every Henkei. Oh wait, missing Wildrider. Oh well, close enough.

My next goal is all G1 1987 Targetmasters. I'm close...need Hot Rod and Cyclonus (oddly, bot-only) and the nasty one--Scourge. I also need some of the guns--Misfire and Slugsligner. Pretty costly stuff...

Re: A Mission Accomplished

my original goal was to get every single alternator out there. this was 2007. i went nuts on them and spent way too much for them... i got every mold so far. i'm missing nemesis prime and the yellow jeep repaint probably because i started getting binaltech. i'm now bored with most of them especially the repaints.

back then i decided not to get any tfa toys but since i started collecting primes i had to get TFA prime. this then led me to collect TFA. i'm missing arcee, blackout, waspinator.

collecting all the main primes from every line was my means to get my TF fix during dry times this then made me try and get all the main megatron toys from each line.

i'm concentrating more on the classics line. i have almost everything G1 lookin' in that line and whatever is coming our way. At some point i had my classics in a TRU bag, no love from me. this is when i passed up magnus and skywarp but now i'm much more happier with these than the alternators and bt.

Re: A Mission Accomplished

I've recently come to a discovery taking a tally of my list of all Ultra Magnus and Magnus toys and merchandise I've found over the internet. This list includes everything Magnus related I mean EVERYTHING including cups, mugs, anything with Ultra Magnus on it.

I've realized I'm 1 item short of being 50% complete of my Ultra Magnus collection including some pieces exclusive to my collection including art, customs, and a soon to be delivered grail of Robert Stack's own autograph.

So not mission accomplished yet but getting half way there something I'm quite proud of, and few have obtained.

Re: A Mission Accomplished

Prior to Soundwave being reissued for the TRU Commemorative line, I sought to complete that line; managed to do just that a couple of years ago only to sell off most of the line this past year.

I'm getting close to finishing off the Galaxy Force show characters-only pile (missing one of the VS sets) and the Japanese packaging Beast Wars show characters-only pile (missing Transmetal II Megs and Rampage).

I wish I could say the same for the Prime/Convoy collection though..

Re: A Mission Accomplished

Alternators was really the only line I went nuts and had to get them all on... so I guess "check". The only other "mission" I have is to complete my Marvel TF comic collection. Still have to track down the last issue of G2.

Re: A Mission Accomplished

I finally grabbed a Grand Max last year. It is sort of the 'holy grail' of my G1 collection so it is a mission accomplished for me...

I also collect Grimlocks and would like to have every Grimlocks that have been released. So far:

G1 Grimlock
Pretender Grimlock
Actionmaster Grimlock
G2 Grimlock (2 out of 3 color variations; missing the turquoise one)
Beast Wars Grimlock (i.e. repaint of Dinobot)
Energon Grimlock with Swoop box set Grimlock
JustiToys WST Grimlock
JustiToys WST Comic Version Boxed Set Grimlock
Alternators Grimlock
Binaltech Grimlock
Titanium series 3-inch Grimlock
Titanium 6-inch War Within Grimlock
Classics Grimlock
Henkei Grimlock
MP-08 Grimlock
US Masterpiece Grimlock
Animated Yoyager Grimlock
Animated Activator Grimlock
Animated Activator Goldfire Grimlock

Still a few holes to plug before I can say mission accomplished but I'm getting there

Re: A Mission Accomplished

Back in 2004 I finished collecting all the North American G1 Transformers. I never thought there were so many g1 figures.

Since then I have collected most of the japan versions of headmasters, targetmaster, powermasters and am trying to get some of the higher priced Transformers such as raiden, overlord etc. but its a high priced world. Anyways, that's my story!
