G1 Scavenger loose legs normal?

Hello everyone! I signed up to have access to the Quebec toy sightings thread, but this is the first time I have reason to post.

Yesterday I received my first-ever set of G1 Constructicons. For the most part, except for stickers that need replacing, they're in great shape, but the joint for Scavenger's legs, the one that allows you to rotate both legs 180 degrees, is completely loose. I can hold the body and easily swing the legs back and forth without any resistance.

However, since this in no way impacts his ability to stand, I was wondering if maybe the joint was supposed to be like that?

Thanks!

I have had two, and the joints on both are fairly loose. I don't know if that's how they're supposed to be, but it seems that the toys of that age are usually in that shape.

Yeah, he should at least be able to stand up, but they are traditionally loose, from what I've seen. Mine are quite loose and I think they were always that way (since 1985, lol)

While it's not exactly the same, my G2 Scavanger also has loose legs. But he has a lot of play wear to explane for that.

Re: G1 Scavenger loose legs normal?

same with mine.pretty common, kinda like scrapper who's legs are usually loose enough by now that when he's in alt mode, his rear end doesn't stay together too well.(almost looks like a green "bent" banana)

but then the g2 devs(yellow) that i have also,he doesn't exibit the same looseness in parts as my g1 (green) dev's.
