Yeah but technically, if you have the new hands, you shouldn't have to remove the hilt again because that sword is only made for Predaking. I use the stock smaller sword for the lion when he's not combined.
Oh, and so bought. I hope it's the last kit for Predaking though!

For everyone buying these, I sure hope they got their game together and stop damaging figures with their predaking add-ons.

Re: Crazy Devy Predaking Mane Add-ons
Only the wings were causing scratches as far as I know and the problem has been addressed since. This has been blown out of proportion by i'm-leaving-the-fandom-but-not-quite drama queen optibotimus (and his oversensitive disciples).

Re: Crazy Devy Predaking Mane Add-ons
Well, Takara produced a trailer for MP Rodimus that scratches his spoiler. Doesn't that even out things?
I have yet to test the foot plates, I'm still waiting for them to show up.

Re: Crazy Devy Predaking Mane Add-ons
The wings have 14K gold on them, that's why they're more expensive (plus, they're huge).

How is it over blown? It was serious enough that Crazy devy had to address it, and correct me if I'm wrong, but they didn't fix the problem with the wings they just gave you, according to this http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...ection-170861/, some wings that you won't mind being damaged to replace the originals. So if someone isn't up to date with the issue, there's a chance they will scratch up their figure. Optibotimus may be dramatic about the scratches, but it still doesn't negate the fact there were scratches.

Takara isn't Crazy Devy. Takara messing up doesn't balance things. It actually the opposite. It's two companies placed on the naughty end of the scale. And deserve a serious finger wagging at.
Here's an article on the the issue with the footplates.

IMHO, the end product looks fantastic. Nobody's perfect, but obvious issues like this should be caught by QC. For the price paid, I'd expect better.

Re: Crazy Devy Predaking Mane Add-ons
CD had to address the problem because of that one guy baby crying loudly about it on all major sites and doing them an extremely bad press because of, well, his extreme reaction. The replacement wings are thinner and won't get damaged. I have them. To pretend that all CD products will damage your figures like some people are trying to imply is just pure ignorance. People badmouthing CD usually don't own any of their products and just bitch about the price tags. What do they know?
Also, if you read the entire thread about the foot plates, you'll realize that only ONE person had problems with them... the OP, who got frontpaged.
