toysrus.ca shipping service ?
Doesn't toysrus.ca use Purolator to ship their products ?
Was thinking about placing an order but if they ship with Canada Post I wasn't going to bother due to the possible strike looming next week. Been so long since I placed an order I can't remember.

They've always used Canada Post for my orders.

Ya checked the help section of their website. Says they use Purolator, Corner Stone & Canada Post. Guess it depends on where you live.

Re: toysrus.ca shipping service ?
My order Friday was shipped using purolator, but one in June was Canada Post, seems to be random like Amazon

Re: toysrus.ca shipping service ?
Im sure it depends on lots of factor including there cost.
Ive had them ship via puplator to a PO Box that purolator refused to deliver

That's weird only because I know UPS, for example, won't ship to PO Box, but if Puro is the same then TRU should have known that and shipped with the proper courier that does accept PO Box.

Re: toysrus.ca shipping service ?
Called by phone to talk to a representative. She said the service they usually ship with depends on the weight of the package. The lighter packages tend to be shipped by Canada Post while the heavier ones they use Purolator & Cornerstone. She also told me if Canada Post does go on strike then Purolator will probably take them over.
Anyway I bit the bullet & went ahead with the order. We'll see how it goes. Fingaz crossed.

Re: toysrus.ca shipping service ?
Yeah if the postal workers go on strike, they will ship with someone else.

Same here....they always used Purolator and never deliver to my POBOX. Even on request as their policy is to use CP for POBOXes, they were unable to use anything besides Purolator.
