Woohoo, got refunded from nippon yassan for Megatron, that shipping (5000 yen) was nuts.

Aren't the coupons better than the sales they put out?

Not anymore due to the price increase on leaders. My raincheck is based on the older price. Plus you get to also use the 10% coupon on top of it.

But regardless, coupon or raincheck, finding this at a TRU would let me buy it for cheaper.

Provided you buy it before August 30. That's when all 3 coupons expire.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings

So I just want this to be a head's up for people. I have ordered three different things from Amazon (Repugnus, Blast-off and something else not transformers related) and have had no end of issues with the shipping. I should also say that I was ordering from .com rather than .ca

It seems Amazon wants to use a fulfillment company called Landmark. If you also make an order from Amazon.com be very careful if you use the cheap shipping and they use Landmark.

Essentially what they were doing is saying they tried to deliver to my house (once only, not multiple tries), and then returning and refunding my purchase. Every time they said they made an attempted delivery I was home, they just never tried. I think they get paid by Amazon either way as long as they say they attempt to deliver so they didn't boher. Anyway I will now only shop with Amazon if I use the expensive option (which is usually UPS), as they have no trouble finding my door. This had made me rethink some potential purchases as this is an added expense. I also don't want others to suffer the same problem.

By the way don't take my word for it, this is a typical problem with Landmark as you can see here:

I thought landmark just hands it off to Canada Post, that's been my experience with Repugnus at least.
