I'm asking because I recently bought a Binaltech Prowl
You bought a knockoff, if it was from the Comic Book Shop on Bank.

I tried. It's totally jammed. I managed to push it back into the original part of the joint though.

I dunno, I might have warped (bent) the bar slightly or expanded the head after trying to push it out the more difficult direction.

TTT, would WD40 melt the plastic though? Although I suppose there's only one way to find out...

Gonna buy myself some Diet Coke tonight!

Re: Repair Thread

Not that I know of ...don't use too much

WD-40 was originally designed to prevent rust on missile heads...

(I did a presentation about it at work a year ago, the yellow thing on the can is supposed to be a missile)

WD = Water Displacement
40 = formula perfected on 40th attempt.

Mexico has a knock off called WB-50

Re: Repair Thread

this isn't so much a question as an idea, i'm currently repairing my friends boy's broken transformers, some of the ball joints are broken off, i fixed one already by drilling a 1.5mm hole directly in the centre of both pieces and glueing a metal pin of roughly the same size through it with loctite industrial superglue.

Re: Repair Thread

I have a G1 Omega Supreme and I was flipping the switch for the walking function when the button just went into the figure. Knocked it loose I guess. Any idea how I'd go about repairing it? Never opened up a transformer before and this Omega is in mint condition. Don't want to open it up and ruin it. Any tips on how to go about it would be appreciated.

Re: Repair Thread

I just noticed the Stealth BB I bought last month has this weird problem in alt-mode. One of the legs don't transform back properly so one of the wheels sticks out lower due to this. Anyone know how I can fix this? I don't really want to go through the hassle of exchanging/returning since this one had the most decent paint job...

I think the gears in the leg may be off.
