Actually, the thing that pushed me over the edge into not going for HA Soundwave is that I want a recolor. Or, to be perfectly honest, a color. I am so tired of prototype grey.

That said, if I had one, I'd open it.

I opened mine as all of my HA figures are open. That way I can compare them and such (NO, I AM NOT MAKING MY ROBOTS GO -PEW- PEW- PEW) I really like him as a transformer but as with all figures in this line I really prefer the car mode.

It will never be of any joy unless you free him of his carboard&plastic jail, as for price its already starting to come down as more of them are being brought in from overseas to meet the demand here,.....
