Re: Quick review: Maketoys Battle Tanker

Talking about the trailer, not the Prime figure itself.

My tanker order from Automaton is in transit now. can't wait for it.
I'd like to know too. I got mine already but don't want to chance breaking his neck when it can be avoided with a fixed replacement head.

Thanks.

Regarding replacement heads: I am not to sure how its going to work out with those that have been shipped or are in transit...newer shipments of the set will have them included I think. those of before that might have them shipped with orders they have on hold or preorder I think.....it might be best to ask Mario at Automaton...hopefully soon he will have more info on what is going on.

Re: Quick review: Maketoys Battle Tanker

That's what I mean, with the trailer set I prefer the United G2 Prime to the classics voyager Prime.

Re: Maketoys Battle Tanker

Added DOTM Whirls clip weapons to add a Powermaster Primes smokestack vibe and WFC Primes battle axe.

Re: Maketoys Battle Tanker

Pics came out great, I'm pretty jealous

Anyways, what is this about a replacement head? Is there a problem about the one that is included?

Re: Maketoys Battle Tanker

The neck has been known to snap off while putting on the new head...it is one solid piece. the new head is 2 pieces like the old one, that requires you to unscrew it to remove/put on Prime.

Re: Maketoys Battle Tanker

Thats only if you are not careful. you just have to boil water, put the head in for about 5 min...pour out the water as it cools and put in new boiled water in during that time. this is to soften the plastic...you can also sand down the neck hole where the flat area is...just a bit so there is more room to pop it on. dont shave too much off though..just enough to round the flat edge out a bit. I wish I took pics as I was doing this. Mine turned out fantastic.
