I second this...though you might wanna include Sponge Bob into that list as well. YTV doesn't even play that many cartoons these days...it's all just teen drama and reality crap.

I am rather surprised that Teletoon picked up Prime instead though.

Really? YTV was pretty good to Transformers. They aired most of the series either before or very close to American broadcast, and until Animated, every series recieved a prime time broadcast. Here we have Teletoon shoving Prime to an early Sunday slot.

It's a good slot, all their top action shows are on Sunday mornings.

Prime will be rubbing shoulders with Star Wars, X-Men, Batman, Spiderman and Avengers.

I was waiting for Teletoon or YTV to pick this up (I've been fighting the urge to watch it on a computer). I was actually hoping it would get an evening slot on YTV like Cybertron did. Still great news, though.

To my knowledge, YTV doesn't even HAVE cartoons on their evening slots now...

As someone who reads Corus Entertainment's finacial reports, you'd be surprised. Their ratings are at times 2x what Teletoon and Family get combined.

As well, earlier this year Beyblade Metal Fusion set the channel's record for highest debut of an animated series. So animation isn't exactly dead on the channel.
