Re: Dark Knight Rises Trailer!!!11!!1!!1!111!
It was alright. 7/10 for me. It has it's issues but as a terrorism movie it was solid...Just not sure I loved it as a Batman movie per se. Still deciding

Great movie! Didn't think it was possible to top TDK, but Nolan did it! Everything about the movie was awesome! Acting, action, story...the perfect end to the best superhero film franchise ever released!
10/10

I saw it last night and it was awesome. A very good close to the Nolan trilogy. I would still think TDK was the best of the 3, but a very solid movie none the less.

I can agree with this, and I'd say 6/10 I think for me. I wasn't a huge fan of any of the trilogy.

Put me on this list as well, IMO Rises tried too hard to be too epic.
TDK is my all-time favorite film, and while I truly didn't expect TDKR to surpass it, I found it overall lacking and not a great Bat-film.

Re: Dark Knight Rises Trailer!!!11!!1!!1!111!
From what I've read (waiting for the DVD or discount theatre to watch it) it looks like Nolan's Batman Trilogy can be compared to the Classics STAR WARS movies thusly:
Batman Begins - groundbreaking and a classic, like Episode IV: A New Hope
The Dark Knight - the best of the trilogy, improved upon the original, darker, like Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
The Dark Knight Rises - still good but it's not Empire or TDK, somewhat underwhelming, slow-paced, but ties up the Saga nicely, like Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
So who are the Ewoks in TDKR? Witout having seen the movie I'd guess it's Anne Hathaway and her misproportionally large head and mouth.

Re: Dark Knight Rises Trailer!!!11!!1!!1!111!
I think your mileage will vary depending on what you enjoy about Batman.
If TDK was your end all be all of movies, you will probably be disappointed. I find that the people who enjoy Batman Begins more than TDK really enjoyed this one.
If you read a lot of comics you may be a little underwhelmed. While there is little pulled directly from a specific story arcs, if you have read Knightfall, No man's land or The Dark Knight Returns you can kind of see where things are going the entire time.
If you see Bruce Wayne and Batman as separate characters you might be a little agitated by the amount of screen time "Batman" gets. The people who see him the same regardless of what he is wearing will have no problems.
I've seen it a couple times now and I am pretty happy with it. There are some things I am not too fond of but overall I think it is a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.
