Nice helmet. But I think Prime has some parasites or something in his eyes.

So fansproject are re-releasing explorer and multitioner. I want other people opinion if this Bruticus set worth it or not. If I want that, I'll have to buy the Asia-reissue of classic Bruticus (130$) and the fansproject set ( not sure the price...lets say 100$) so about 230$+ for the Bruticus. Is it worth it??

It's worth it, those 2 molds even without Bruticus Maximus is gold.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

I'm a cheapskate, so my version of "worth it" may be different than yours...

BUT... Munitioner/Explorer are fantastic little guys. $50 each for Scouts may be a bit steep. It IS steep. But they are VERY nicely done and the resemblance to their G1 inspirations is bang on. The plastic is a bit delicate-feeling, but they seem to be durable. It's just clear that they definitely aren't toys made for kids. With the number of cool accessories, and how awesome the "Bruticus" feels when fully assembled, I'd say they're a damn good buy.

The price on that Bruticus Maximus reissue is the sticky point for me. It's actually not a bad set at all in terms of the individual figures, but that's still about twice what I would pay for it, especially since you're just going to end up with 2 figures left over. The "Brawl" feels especially out of place, considering how G1 accurate the FP figures are. I'd be tempted to just track down those molds online for a fraction of the price, and build your Bruticus that way. Sure, you might not have EXACTLY the right colours, but it doesn't take much to fix that. But then, I'm a bit DIY like that.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

On another note, has ANYBODY here got a line on TRU stuff in Ontario? Because with MP10 Optimus showing up in Ontario TRU's, I'm starting to get restless. I do NOT want to miss this at retail, and it seems like everything is showing up in Ontario now. Blah.

Gonna go with Smog on this one and say you're better off just tracking another version of those molds.

Dudes! Tfsource posted some pics of the new Mp minions for Soundwave! This being frenzy, rumble, buzzsaw and ravage, they look friggin sweet! Im not even going to get the G1 cassettes cause deluxe sized cassettes seem a hell of a lot better Also, id buy these and soundwave online, theres no telling when and IF we will ever see these in quebec. I mean cause MP10 and thundercracker are so constantly found around here, haha....oh wait.

Dear P.Marois, please fix the french packaging laws that take away so much of my happiness

Found out about Fort Max on Automaton's Facebook page and I had to get it. It's insane that Takara is doing this now, never thought it would happen, though I've been harping about it for ages...

Next on my wishlist is a Masterpiece Cyclonus!... Or Masterpiece Fort Max? Imagine the size of that one...
