Scatman (Jazz) Crothers cut signature

I have an opportunity to get my hands on a cut signature of Scatman Crothers (voice actor for G1 Jazz). Anybody know what that might be worth? I don't want to seem too stupid when I make an offer but I also don't want to pay too much.

From what I understand, cut signatures aren't worth near as much as if it were of a photo or document, so judging by the actual signature and authenticity of it, maybe $50-$85??

In my opinion, a celebrity's signature is only worth what you feel it's worth to you. Not much help, I admit.

$50 seems like a lot for this. Before buying I would be asking myself how I know it's authentic and not a forgery. Anyone can say it is authentic.
