You want to know a trick to TRU? You will love your tru store so much for there advertisment /rain check policy.

Well here it is:
Go into your local TRU where your toy is schedualed to be released or currently sold out. Also you want make sure theres a current sale, say 30 % off. Make sure you get a raincheck with a quanity of two or more. Now wait till your item comes in, Hoping that you can catch another sale. Say a BOGO.

Ex: $100 item, 30% off times 2, Rain checked. So $70 each.
Then Bogo free, So you pay $70 for the two toys. Vs 200 plus tax.

I've been able to do this 3 times over the last few years.

See, I always assumed that there needed to be nothing of the particular line/upc available in order to get a rain check (rather than just not being able to find Starscream for instance while they had Ratchet & Roadbuster), but I'm definitely going to try that next time.

I mean, why should I miss out on the sale just because they don't happen to have 2 of the figures I want at the same time, especially since most of their sales are like "everything from this group on sale", rather than specifically referencing a product number & nothing else. Even if I manage to get 25% off of 1 deluxe that I care about (vs buying shit I don't want or missing the sale all together because they dont have something yet or anymore) it'll be worth it, and that's not even including the awesomeness from couping this with a future BOGO.

Nice..Kre-O's here I come..I can't justify spending full price on them..but I like them still.

Cool news. Walmart is in need of one now..TRU and Zelers have had multiple sales..and not one at Walfart yet..pick up the slack.

I wouldn't get too excited, the Kreos have been exempt from every sale so far.

I just looked at the flyer is says all transformer figures are buy one get one half off.
