So anyone know the cheapest way to get Dinobot? Is there any advantage in group buys? It seems like an import from HLJ or whatever is guaranteed getting dinged at customs for 12% or whatever, so I'm not sure what to do. With MP Megs I just went with A3U to be on the safe side (gun-importing-wise) but with Dinobot I don't know...

I'd say try Nippon-Yasan or Amiami. I think they're less likely to get hit by customs and their prices are sometimes a bit lower.

I preordered with Amiami and the only shipping option is EMS. I don't know if shipping with a SAL option will be available when it comes out, but if it doesn't, real high chance I will be dinged because of EMS.

In my experience, ordering from Japan would still be cheaper by at least 15% than buying from a local shop even if you get dinged by custom.
Did the custom for toys change? My HLJ private warehouse load was shipped by EMS and I only got dinged for taxes and Canada Post handling fee. No duty.

I won't be surprised if MP-41 comes in big box that is over the size and/or weight limit allowed by SAL.

Customs is still the same. In the last little while for me, anything shipping EMS has a 98% of being dinged by tax and handling verses SAL where it almost always doesn't get dinged by anything.
