the only mps out of scale are MP1 /all paints changes and trailer addon inc mp02... and mp 05.. all others are in scale.. some may say grimlock is not but I say he is as hes a dinosaur wish you luck and just take it step by step...

So to rehash this debate, If I don't have that many MPs and wanted 1 optimus prime, which one should I get? I'm leaning towards the mp-01 over mp-10 due to the size/height and complexity of design. And without the trailer, it makes no difference to me if it's not exactly the same size as the lamborghinis and datsuns. But that said, does anyone know where I might be able to find the cardboard trailer on it's own?

as for me I had to have both so I have mp01 with the 3rd party trailer and MP10 Hasbro ver....

You might want to consider the takara grimlock over the hasbro one (like rodimus) hasbro rounded off the teeth and tail as well as some of the axcessories were different.... as for scale wasn't G1 grimlock head and sholders over prime episoid "s.o.s. dinobots" from G1 days showes this I think scale has always been an issue when it comes to the toys and is somthing we just live with
