Rev's Toys

Below is the evolution of the collection. Updated pics on page 9.

First off, sorry if the pictures aren’t amazing. I did not have great lighting. I will get around to doing a better job one day, but wanted to post up despite it not being perfect. Second, unlike some, my collection is spread around. Some of it is at home, and most of it in my office at the Church.

I began collecting when I was 8, in 1984. Sadly only a few toys remain. I resumed again with Armada, Energon, and Cybertron, but then fell out of it. You can tell because my Energon collection is the largest. I still love each toy from all three lines. I got back into collecting in 2012. I started with Prime RID Optimus, and the next thing I know I’ve got half the line. Anyway, here it is.

G1 – 1984/85

Updated Prime Colelction:

March 2013 Prime update. The crew is growing!

February 2013
Small Masterpiece/3rd Party Collection

Update: Oct 2013

The collection has changed quite a bit. I've stored away a lot of AEC toys, and kept just the favourites on display.

Office collection:

Home collection - MP, G1, 3rd party toys

There is room for one more detolf and it will look built in. A really nice little nook off of the dinning room and visible from the living room. Now to work on better lighting for all my cabinets.

updated (see page 4)

Re: Rev's Toys

Ya, I know most people don't have much love for them, but I enjoyed them. I'd like to get Energon Optimus and Galvatron, and Cybertron galvatron and Megatron. Doesn't seem complete without them. But I'd rather spend money on G1 toys, reissue Fort Max, and masterpiece type stuff.

You can tell when I stopped collecting. I'm sad I missed some good classics and masterpiece stuff, other than 25th Prime. But I look forward to picking up what I can, and I'm enjoying the Prime line. I have three Vehicons in the mail.

Thanks, brr-icy

Very cool, and nice to see someone else in Midland collecting. There aren't many of us here.

Re: Rev's Toys

I am envious of your g1 collection.

BTW, I used to have that same Little People's house in your first pic when I was a kid

I should mention that a lot are reissue G1. But I quite enjoy them. I also have a beautiful G1 Jetfire that I don't display because I don't want him to yellow. A shame though, keeping him in a box.

Ya, that set is my better half's, I got it for her for Christmas. She loved it!
