Other than the leaders, I think I'll stick with the regular sized ones. As far as I know, majority weren't released in the Super scale. And its difficult to fit the Super figures into those power suits.

Plus, I think the regular ones are more or less Cyberverse scale, am I right about that?

And somehow during my childhood, I never really absorbed that fact. Something I recently learned.
I think I remember them mentioning something like that in the Gobots: Battle of the Rock Lords movie

I'm not sure if I'd go that far.

It was a different design aesthetic. There are positive aspects, including better articulation and less brickiness. I have a few Super Go-Bots and there's a lot to like. For me, the biggest negative was the approach to heads.

Rather than give some of them heads, a chunk of vehicle with a windshield would suffice. In terms of real-life, this is not really a bad idea. Robots do not necessarily need bifocal vision, noses, mouths, etc. Even Transformers were never depicted as having less sensory information in their vehicle modes, so there's nothing that dictates the necessity of a humanoid head. Intellectually, I am completely on board with that.

In terms of toys and characters, though, it kind of sucks. Not my cup of tea.

Re: Gobots - A slightly different point of view.

I had some GoBots... I miss my blue Leader-1. I think that was a much better color for him.

I didn't learn a lot about the actual GoBot mythos myself until more recently. Beyond the cartoon, there were some neat ideas.

And Cy-kill becoming a good guy? That's interesting... be interested to learn more about how that cartoon went as a sequel to GoBots...

Oh, and about the stuff in the OP... very interesting.

Hmmmmmm...... So its almost looking like the Gobots toy line has a similar dynamic as Shattered Glass.

Oppressive "good guys" and freedom fighting "bad guys".
