Wow...
Pretty sad that their brother passed away, but 35000 dollars?!?
If I was to spend that I would want to know every f-ing piece of that collection and what condition that it is in.

Re: Can I borrow $35,000?
I sent the seller a message:
Hi,
Your auction came to my attention from checking out a Canadian transformers forum page. I am sorry to hear about your brother’s death and see that his transformer collection was a pretty big part of his life.
Can I make a small suggestion? There are many transformers fans looking to purchase many different, rare or hard to find pieces. If you could break this auction up into multiple auctions, or even list them separately (while time consuming) It would likely be a better chance that they would sell. Plus many transformer fans don’t have that kind of cash.
Also there are plenty of fan sites that you can sell directly to people. These include www.tfw2005.com and www.cybertron.ca I am a member at both of these places and find both to be very good sites with extremely good people.
I hope this helps.
Kyle
I didn't want to be to forward, but these people may not know how much a figure is worth, maybe the community could help them out. Plus with a collection like that you would think that he may have been a member...

Re: Can I borrow $35,000?
That was for both the collection and the price!
It would make more sense to break that baby up into smaller auctions.

Re: Can I borrow $35,000?
there looks to be many g1 stuff there maybe even some misb g1 stuff there too how ever its too hard to tell from the pics... they need to take better pics and more close up stuff if they want to sell it as a lot too They allso shouldn't say anything about the death as well I duno what there going for with that if anything or just being honest but that tends to at least I Think so from my own views ... turn people off/away... from stuff like this You allso don't know if you really should belive what ever sad sob story they put up for there reasons for selling :S

This is also a good example of why I take everything out of package and put on display. You can't take them to the grave with you.
Wish my brother had that collection, when he passed away a few years back all i found in his room was a ball of hash and some crappy old porn on VHS
