For those of you that don't know, I like to collect Astrotrains, mainly G1s. But we've yet to get a cartoon accurate coloured Astrotrain in the G1 mold. The closest being the e-HOBBY version but I just don't have that much dough to drop on one toy. Plus the purple is not quite right.

Justitoys made a great version in WST form, but some jerk stole mine This is the same guy I commissioned to paint one of my best G1 Astrotrain specimens. Stole that too

Anyways, this little treasure is a promo figure given out in Japan by Suntory BOSS. The story goes as I know it, it was free if you bought a can of "BOSS" coffee at a specific convenience store. They made many other figures as well (pictured). It's a tiny little figure the size of a D size battery that comes in two parts. But I have to say, it's the most cartoon accurate Astrotrain I have seen so far

The set is very eye catching and also comes with four cassette stickers depicting the popular G1 box art of the 80's. The set is made by Ocean Designs. Pretty cool way to display some of my cassettes for only $15 bucks shipped

Thanks man. It's something I'm trying to do for every one of the G1 characters. Trying to display in three sizes; MP, G1 and WST.
