It's been 25 + years that we've been waiting for a Matrix in a mainline figure. Takara gave us the Matrix in Masterpiece, it gave us the matrix in their G1 re-issues, we even had a Matrix in PVC form with Robot Heroes and the like, but up til now no single mainline has had a removeable Matrix... Yeah right, Cybertron Prime had one too.

Oh well at least this will make for an interesting figure. Can't wait to pick it up. Although I still want at least one representation of Movie 1's Voyager Prime. Defender Prime looks to be it.

I have to wonder though... Why couldn't Leader Class Prime have come with a Matrix as well?

^ if he did then he wouldn't be able to say "I am Optimus Prime" a million times during transformation

I think the figure looks great, and I can't pass over a new Prime figure.
