Re: G2 Superion Walmart.ca

Thanks for sharing. I find it amazing that at even Walmarts higher price point fo individual figures that this set still works out to $22 higher than all 6 individually. Great for those who like G2 Superion for a release though

Re: G2 Superion Walmart.ca

I will absolutely wait for TRU to get them in. Will probably order right away but it will stay closed until I can get a price match for at least 20% off on a later sale. Or I'll return it. Absolutely not for $150. At TRU regular pricing all six would cost $119 before tax. Hopefully a 30% sale like I did devy.

I am really quite pissed off at the huge price increases on platinum and exclusives for no added value beyond a fucking box. I was and am excited for both g2 sets but what a frigging damper.

I don't like to admit it, but I like a collectors package. It adds value (to me personally, not often to others). If I like something enough, I don't mind paying full pop for it. I would have jumped all over this mother if it wasn't for the horrible, horrible job Walmart (TRU as well) do shipping stuff like this.

I have had nothing but great experiences with shipping from Wal-mart and TRU

Just bought Devastator. So this will have to wait for a sale.

Only good point I see is that they're all jets. No Alpha Bravo in sight.

Fair, but $30+ dollars more for a box? :P

Up until they started the platinum business, the repaints and special box sets were always DEALS. here's three voyagers for the price of 2 1/2. The Cyclonus and hot rod set was 30. I could go on and on but it used to be that these repaint box sets were sold at value.

I'm fine paying equivalent, even a bit more for a special set, but the general overcharge on platinum and now this gets my goat.

At least with victorion you could point to the exclusive retooling, new weapons and appendages. Anyways. Like I say. Tru is good for sales and price adjustments. I'll go through them and in the end get these for a fair price.
